Thanks to all the volunteers from SOCC and our community who helped make the Backpack Project a huge success. Nearly 300 children received backpacks, school supplies, new socks, and gently used clothes. While they waited kids enjoyed crazy contests to win more back to school prizes.
It's great to see the community of churches and organizations come together with Salvation Army for this event.
