The Area 10 Agency on Aging Food Pantry provides two bags of groceries once a month to low income homebound seniors. We deliver groceries to the Ellettsville area the third Wednesday and Thursday of the month from Area 10 at 630 W. Edgewood Dr. in Ellettsville. Our Bloomington deliveries are done on the fourth Wednesday and Thursday of the month, currently from Girl’s Inc. at 1108 W. 8th St. in Bloomington. Drivers and subs are needed to pick up and deliver groceries for several routes. The routes generally contain anywhere from four to eight clients and take about 1-2 hours to complete. Volunteers should be able to lift and carry groceries.
