SOCC cares about children and we want to put that care into action. In just about an hour per week you can make a difference in the life of a child. Volunteers help in classrooms listening to children read, helping with math or whatever the project is for the hour. You can choose the school, day of the week and the time of day in which you volunteer. Opporutnities are also available for the Free Friday Market at Templeton and overseeing the Salad Bar at Fairview. The Salad Bar is a great time to take along your best bud and serve together.
General information is being collected now and volunteers will be matched with teachers and opportunites over the next few weeks. You should expect to be volunteering by mid September.
